The 4th Manas Forum, organized by the Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies and hosted by our university, took place on October 16-18, 2024.

During his visit to Ibn Haldun University on 15 April 2024, Secretary General of the Organisation of Turkic States Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the university leadership and the administration of Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies.

Deputy Director of the Analytical Centre of the Government of the Russian Federation Dr. Mikhail Pryadilnikov was our guest.

As part of this scholarship program, a commission formed by our university and the Turkic States Organization will select one student each from the five full members and three observer members of the Organization of Turkic States. These students will pursue graduate education at Ibn Haldun University.

Sakarya Gas Field Development Project, carried out by Türkiye’s national energy company, Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), consists of Subsea Production System (SPS), the Onshore Production Facility (OPF), and Subsea Umbilical, Risers and Flow lines (SURF). Within this project’s scope, the first natural gas production was realized at Sakarya Gas Field in May 2023 and offloaded to the national grid via Pipelines Petrol Transport Corporation (BOTAŞ) shortly after all the necessary tests were completed.

This report examines the complex geopolitical dynamics of microchip production in Taiwan, particularly in the context of US-China relations.

The book "Timeless Leader - Haydar Aliyev's Philosophy of Governance and Continuity" written by Azerbaijani Deputy Dr Sadiq Kurbanov, Chairman of the Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology Committee of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan was presented. In the book, Azerbaijan's National Leader Heydar Aliyev's understanding of the state is discussed. Speaking at the presentation organised by Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies at Ibn Haldun University, author Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sadiq Kurbanov said: "Remembering Haydar Aliyev with great affection at Ibn Haldun University in Turkey and learning about him will only serve the future of Turkic peoples."

At the commemoration meeting of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Haydar Aliyev, the 'Haydar Aliyev Turkic World Scholarship Program' for the citizens of the member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States was also introduced.

INQUIRING THE MEANING OF THE ENERGY SECURITY CONCEPT: DIMENSIONS, COMPONENTS, AND POSSIBLE NEED TO REFRAME IT

The promotion of the book "Azerbaijan at the Beginning of the XXth Century: The Road to Independence" written by Academician Dilara Seyidzade, who worked as the secretary of former Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev, was held at Ibn Haldun University under the organization of Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies and Azerbaijan Consulate General in Istanbul. While the author Dilara Seyidzade was accompanied by the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Istanbul Narmina Mustafayeva, Ibn Haldun University Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies Director Yaşar Sarı and students attended the presentation meeting.

2nd INTPOLSEC International Security Congress was held under the organization of Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies

Our Center Coordinator Chountagi presented his paper on Legal Issues Regarding Waqfs.

Dr. Najiba Mustafayeva's "Criminalization of Ecocide: Impetus towards Armenia's International Responsibility" was published in the 4th issue of CAUCASUS STRATEGIC PERSPECTIVES.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gaukhar Batyrbekkyzy and Moldir Sultanova came to Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies to conduct research for 1 month between 28 July and 28 August.

I. International Arbitration Summer School was successfully held with the support of Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law, Baku State University, Turkish Arbitration Academy, Organisation of Turkic States and Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies.

On Monday, May 15, 2023, our event "Evaluation of Sakarya Gas Field in Terms of Energy Security and Geopolitics" took place with the participation of our guests.

On Monday, May 8, 2023, our event called "The Effect of the Policies of the Heydar Aliyev Era on the Formation of the Personality of the Azerbaijani Youth" was held.

The international conference titled "The University that Heydar Aliyev Wants to See" was held in cooperation with Azerbaijan State Economic University and Ibn Haldun University, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan.

The conference titled “Heydar Aliyev's Legacy in Turkey-Azerbaijan Relations” organized by our university together with the AIR Center, the İstanbul Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies was held at our Kulliye on Wednesday, April 26.

Binali Yıldırım, President of the Turkic States Organization White Beards Council, came together with our students and members at the event "The Vision of the Organization of Turkic States and the Role of the Council of White Bears" organized by Haydar Aliyev Eurasian Studies Application and Research Center.
