Üsküdar University hosted an important event as part of the "Current Issues in International Relations Seminar Series". The seminar, titled "The Russia-Ukraine War in the International Agenda," was presented by Prof. Dr. Yaşar Sarı, Director of the Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies (HACE).
The Russia-Ukraine War goes beyond being a conflict between two countries, representing a significant turning point for the Turkic World. The Turkic Republics in Central Asia are affected by the security and economic uncertainties caused by the war, while Turkey's strategic role in the region and the potential for the Turkic World to act in unison have become increasingly important.
During the seminar, current developments in the Russia-Ukraine war, its effects on international relations, and regional security dynamics were discussed in a multi-dimensional manner. The event, in which the participants consisting of students and academics showed interest, provided an important platform for discussing current issues on an academic level.
