The opening speeches were delivered by H.E. Dr. Ufuk Ulutaş, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Tashkent; Prof. Sadık Safayev, First Deputy Chair of the Senate of Uzbekistan and Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy; Mr. Mirvokhid Azimov, Deputy Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States; Prof. Mesut Özcan, President of the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye; and Prof. Atilla Arkan, Rector of Ibn Haldun University.
The forum featured four thematic panels, with the participation of scholars and policy experts from both Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
From Türkiye, representatives from leading institutions such as SETA, ANKASAM, DİPAM, the Foreign Policy Institute, the National Intelligence Academy, the National Defense University, Ankara Social Sciences University, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, and TOBB University of Economics and Technology took part. A Turkish scholar from the Tashkent State University of World Languages also contributed with a presentation.
On the Uzbek side, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, International Institute for Central Asia, Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies, Institute for Advanced International Studies, and the Center for Progressive Reforms were represented by academics and experts.
The forum was jointly organized by the Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies of Ibn Haldun University and the Institute for Advanced International Studies of UWED, within the framework of the MUNIS World Bank Projects.
The event aimed to promote a shared strategic vision between Türkiye and Uzbekistan, strengthen regional cooperation, and deepen academic diplomacy across Eurasia.
