As the Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies at Ibn Haldun University, we organized the "Panel on the Development of the Organization of Turkic States and Photo Exhibition" in collaboration with the Organization of Turkic States, Ibn Haldun University, and the Department of Economics at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University. The event took place on January 17, 2025, at the Gülhane Campus.
The opening speech of the event was delivered by Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Kurşun, Vice Rector of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University. The panel featured insightful presentations by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilal Bağış, Head of the Department of Economics at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, and Prof. Dr. Yaşar Sarı, Director of the Haydar Aliyev Eurasian Studies Center. The panel, which focused on the development of the Organization of Turkic States, regional cooperation, and the future of the Turkic world, attracted significant interest from attendees.
In addition to the panel, a special photo exhibition showcasing Turkic culture was also presented to visitors. This exhibition, hosted at Gülhane Campus, visually depicted the rich history and cultural heritage of the Turkic world.
As the Haydar Aliyev Center forEurasian Studies, we continue our efforts to contribute to the academic and cultural development of the Turkic world. Through such events, we aim to promote cooperation among Turkic States, strengthen awareness of shared history and culture, and continue our initiatives in this field.
