The Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies (HACE) has released a comprehensive edited volume examining Azerbaijan’s strategic, cultural, and political role within the Turkic world. Titled “Turkic World Studies: Azerbaijan”, the publication was coordinated and published by Ibn Haldun University Press.
This 584-page volume presents a multidimensional analysis of Azerbaijan, combining historical background with contemporary transformations, and features original contributions from emerging scholars. It explores a wide range of topics including Azerbaijan’s geopolitical position within the Organization of Turkic States, post-Karabakh identity reconstruction, energy security, legal structure, educational policies, and international relations.
In the foreword, Dr. Alptekin Cihangir İşbilir emphasizes that the relationship between the two brotherly countries is not only rooted in culture but has evolved into a strategic partnership. He also underlines the importance of such academic publications in guiding the institutionalization of Turkic world policies.
