While the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was expected to finalize the agreement about the access of the USA to valuable mineral rights in Ukraine, it ended with the spark of differences in some issues. The early leaving of White House by Zelensky and Trump’s tweet on his unpreparedness for the peace, international reactions came one-by-one. UK pledges £2.26 Billion loan to Ukraine under G7 initiative.
On the basis of the agreement between the UK and Ukraine, a £2.26 billion loan was sent to Ukraine in three annual payments of £752 million, while the first part was planned exclusively for military procurement. The PM of the UK mentioned that supporting Ukraine is essential for stability in Europe and for their national security.

Trump pauses military aid to Ukraine after Zelensky clash.
President of the USA, Donald Trump, ordered the suspension of the aid to Ukraine after his meeting with the president of Ukraine. While the USA is the largest supplier to Ukraine, with 119 billion since February of 2022, the suspension will be covered by 500 million in support, which former President Joe Biden signed. While the support of European countries, the EU, and the G7 continued, the actions of the USA were criticized.

During his working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov participated in the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The 10th Ministerial Meeting/Steering Committee on the implementation of the Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Development and Transmission of Green Energy started in the hall of the Ferenc Puskás Stadium in Budapest with the participation of ministers from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Hungary. The meeting concluded with the agreement and press conference.

US-Ukraine talks start in Saudi Arabia after major drone attack on Russia.
Ukrainian and US officials began their talks in Saudi Arabia. While this is the first meeting after the presidents’ meeting in Washington, Zelensky mentioned that “we hope for practical outcomes” in his post. While the USA remained as the main supplier of the Ukraine, Saudi Arabia played a mediator role in the conflict.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has accepted the United States suggestion of a comprehensive 30-day ceasefire proposal after talks in Saudi Arabia. While the suggestion was to stop military actions on the front line, Ukraine proposed three main things during the discussions.

Azerbaijan welcomes the border agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan made a statement about warmly welcoming the signing of the agreement on the delimitation and demarcation of the border between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan. While two countries have more than 907 km of border, an agreement on disputed areas was signed by officials.

The first strategy meeting of the Network of Climate-Vulnerable Countries Affected by Conflicts or High Levels of Humanitarian Needs on the adoption of significant position documents was held in Abu Dhabi on 26–27 February 2025. While it was organized by the COP29 Presidency and hosted by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the meeting brought together high-level representatives of climate-conflict-vulnerable countries, international organizations, and financial institutions.

The unfounded allegations made by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at a press conference with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira were condemned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. After unanimous acceptance of Azerbaijan's application to become a member of the D-8 at the Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the D-8 Member States in Cairo, Egypt, on 19 December 2024, the government of Azerbaijan formally submitted the instruments of ratification of the D-8 Charter to the Secretariat of the Developing-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation (D-8) in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Armenia’s parliament approves bill on country’s EU accession.
On its second and final reading, Parliament passed a bill on the beginning of the process of accession of Armenia to the EU. While the prime minister of Armenia mentioned that Armenia was prepared to strengthen its alignment with the EU in October 2023, a resolution of the European Parliament urging EU institutions to deepen ties with Armenia passed in March 2024.

The Baku Initiative Group organized an international conference on "Colonialism: Erasure of Religious and National Identity" in Baku with the participation of leaders and representatives from territories under French and Dutch colonial rule, including Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Kanaky (New Caledonia), Corsica, Martinique, Réunion, Bonaire, French Polynesia, Mayotte, and Wallis and Futuna.
