Secretary of the Security Council Baktybek Bekbolotov took part in the XIII meeting of high Representatives on security issues in Moscow
Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktybek Bekbolotov took part in the XIII meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues held in Moscow.
The event, which took place on May 27-29, was attended by 126 delegations from foreign countries and international organizations. The agenda of the plenary session was to discuss the formation of an architecture of equal and indivisible security in the context of current challenges and opportunities for the States of the Global South and East.
In his speech, Baktybek Bekbolotov noted that Kyrgyzstan's priorities include finding common approaches with partners to address key issues of countering traditional and new threats, as well as developing measures to prevent and respond to them, actively cooperating with the United Nations and working in this area in various formats of friendly integration associations.
According to the Secretary of the Security Council, the development of economic and transport ties, strengthening cooperation, improving logistics routes and infrastructure, the implementation of various joint projects and the harmonization of steps promoting national interests play a significant role in strengthening regional stability. All efforts of interstate cooperation should be aimed at building prompt and coordinated actions in the spirit of alliance, mutual understanding and support.
Informal multilateral meetings of the secretaries of the Security Councils of the SCO and CIS countries were also held within the framework of the event. In addition, Baktybek Bekbolotov held a number of bilateral meetings in order to expand international cooperation in the field of security and the development of military-technical cooperation.

The President of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the speakers of the parliaments of the TurkPA member countries
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the heads of parliaments of the member states of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking States (TurkPA), emphasizing the Assembly's key role in strengthening political cooperation and Turkic solidarity. He reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s strong support for the organization and its mission.
Tokayev highlighted Kazakhstan’s active contribution to Turkic integration as a founding member of the Organization of Turkic States, citing successful initiatives during its recent chairmanship, including the V World Nomad Games and the historic approval of a unified Turkic alphabet. Following the results of the Central Asia–China Summit, a number of multilateral documents were signed and adopted

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev got acquainted with the work of the KIA specialized and commercial equipment assembly plant
Since the company's launch in 2022, more than 700 vehicles have been produced. The total investment in production facilities exceeded 11 billion tenge. Complete small-scale assembly is carried out here with localization of welding, painting and installation of cabins. The production of additional equipment for commercial vehicles has also been established. 240 jobs have been created.
The company is negotiating with other international brands to expand its production capacity and product line.
The President wished the company's staff success and left a commemorative inscription on the body of the KIA Bongo car.
