The second INTPOLSEC Security Congress was organized by Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies and Ibn Haldun University Department of Political Science and International Relations with the strategic support of Inonu University, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism and TIKA on 20-21 October 2023.

The Congress started with the greetings of Yaşar Sarı, Director of Haydar Aliyev Center Eurasian Studies, Fikret Birdişli, Founder of INTPOLSEC, Bezen Coşkun, President of INTPOLSEC and with the opening speeches of Ibn Haldun University Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan.

Following Prof. Dr. Faruk Sönmezoğlu's lecture as our guest of honor at the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkey Session, Araz Aslanlı made a presentation titled "Turkey's South Caucasus Policy from the Past to the Future". Our guest Albina Yun from Central Asia Barometer shared with us the data of their study titled "Turkey's Image in Central Asia: Unveiling Perceptions".

On the first day of the congress, 12 face-to-face sessions were held, including one open session, two round tables and 9 parallel sessions; presentations were made on various sub-themes such as New Concepts & Conceptualisations of Security, New Approaches and Conceptualizations in Security, Geopolitics Terrorism and Security, NATO-EU-Transatlantic Security, Turkish Foreign Policy and Turkey's Security Policies, Energy Security, Regional Security: Central Asia & Caucasus, Special Armed Groups.

On the second day of the congress, which was held entirely with online sessions, Prof. Dr. Uddhab Prasad Pyakurel (Director of Global Engagement Division of Kathmandu University, Nepal) was our Main Guest, as well as 2 round tables and 12 sessions, 5 in English and 4 in Turkish.
