As part of an online panel jointly organized by the Haydar Aliyev Eurasian Studies Center (HACE) at Ibn Haldun University and Khazar University, the political, security, and geopolitical implications of the war in the Middle East for Azerbaijan and Türkiye will be examined. The event aims to assess recent developments within the framework of regional power balances, energy security, diplomatic positioning, and strategic cooperation perspectives.
The panel will be moderated by Yaşar Sarı (Ibn Haldun University). The speakers include Cavid Veliyev (AIR Center), Orkhan Valiyev (Khazar University), Umut Uzer (Istanbul Technical University), and Çağla Gül Yesevi (Bahçeşehir University).
The discussion will comprehensively address the impact of regional conflicts on the security architecture of the Turkic World, as well as the foreign policy strategies of Türkiye and Azerbaijan and the economic and diplomatic implications of the evolving regional context.
