In today's unpredictable global landscape, the traditional West-centered liberal world order is being contested. With rising tensions between East and West, fostering cooperative, win-win initiatives is vital for international stability. Positioned at the heart of Eurasia, the Turkic world plays a significant role in these developments. Post-Cold War, the concept of Eurasia has grown to include newly independent states striving for economic advancement and problem-solving initiatives, making the Turkic world central to Eurasia.
Political and economic cooperation, integration efforts, and infrastructure projects to enhance connectivity greatly interest the Turkic world. Turkic states are key to various Eurasian projects, prioritizing security, stability, development, and prosperity. Declaring the 21st century as the "Century of Türkiye" and the "Century of the Turkic World" is crucial for redefining strategic perspectives and turning this vision into actionable projects.
The conference, "Enhancing Connectivity and Cooperation in Eurasia," aims to explore and analyze various initiatives across Eurasia, focusing on the role of the Turkic world. We will discuss political, economic, and infrastructure projects, examining their achievements, challenges, and impacts. We welcome both theoretical and quantitative studies.
The conference will highlight cooperation and integration within the Turkic world, especially those led by the Organization of Turkic States, and efforts to address common problems. We invite researchers and academics from various social science disciplines to contribute to the specified themes. We aim to produce valuable scientific publications, including a book and a special issue in an indexed journal.
